Q Radio has held the official opening of its state-of-the-art new headquarters in the heart of Belfast, in a £600,000 investment to renovate and kit out the station’s new base.

Q Radio has been re-appointed as Ulster Rugby’s official radio broadcast partner ahead of the new season, in a brand new partnership deal.

Aer Lingus’ inaugural service direct to Miami, Florida took flight at 3pm this afternoon from Dublin Airport. Flight EI141 operated by an Airbus A330-200 series is the first ever scheduled service between Ireland and Miami, Florida. The aircraft carries the registration EI-DUO and is named Saint Columba.

Organisers of the MCE Ulster Grand Prix have announced a special event with two-weight boxing world champion Carl Frampton and international road racing star Lee Johnston, to take place just days after Frampton’s highly anticipated fight at the SSE Arena, Belfast against Mexican fighter Andres Gutierrez.

Fermanagh rider Lee Johnston has confirmed to race organisers that he is fit to compete in the MCE Ulster Grand Prix, having sufficiently recovered from injuries sustained in June at the Isle of Man TT.
